The last few weeks have been filled with the sweetest words: I Wuv You. Hayden has been talking up a storm for many months now, but had never said those three little words. We would tell her we loved her and she would just smile and laugh and say “no” like it was the silliest thing.
But last week she came and laid her head in my lap and said, “I wuv you Mommy.” I mopped up my melted heart and told her I loved her too. Since then she will say it back to us when we say it to her, but the sweetest thing is still when she says it out of the blue.
This milestone may be even better than the first smile and the first step.
Ahhh. So sweet.
