Four Months of Lauren

Lauren Elizabeth turned four months old on Monday.  To celebrate we took a trip to see Dr. Straughn for her well visit.  Her stats are: 16.6 lbs. (96%), 24.5 inches (70%), 16+ inches head circumference (85%).

She is doing fabulous! (except for the double ear infection she had when we went.)

Lauren has her two front bottom teeth.  She is starting to stay awake for longer stretches and is proving to be a very happy baby.  The one thing we wish she was doing better at is her night sleeping.  I think she is regressing.  The doctor suggested we wait until her ears are clear and then try to persuade her to eat more during the day and sleep at night.  Apparently she likes her calories spread out over the entire 24 hours.

Lauren likes to sit in her Bumbo chair, watch her sister run around, take long baths, drink milk, ride in the sling, and make faces at Daddy.  We sure are enjoying that girl!
