Well Folks, hold on to your hats! This girl is doing fantastic. She is 13.6 pounds (97%), 23.3 inches long (90%) and head circumference was in the 75%. The doctor called her “tall.” No one in our family is referred to as tall. Average maybe and even petite, but not tall. Dr. S. also warned me that she will most likely continue to head up the growth charts through her 4 month and even 6 month visits but after that, with the increase in solids and motor activity, she will probably level off and even lean up a bit. If he isn’t worried then neither am I. (love our pediatrician!)
Lauren’s reflux is improving and we may try to wean back the prevacid in a month or so and see how that goes. He also suggested we drop the dream feed and just see how she does at night. So here comes the new bed time (between 7 and 8pm). Yippee!
Overall Lauren has become a pretty laid back baby. She doesn’t care for “tummy time” or stopping at red lights, but in general has few complaints. We are so very blessed!

Dropping the dream feed already? You have a perfect child! H gave you a run for your money and Lauren is spoiling you. Do you dare even entertain the possibility of a third?
ReplyDeleteI love it! C always gets those "tall" reports, and we've told him to enjoy it now, because we're pretty sure they aren't going to last :). She's so cute, how nice to have such a laid back baby!
