Mark Your Calendars

For FEBRUARY 18, 2010. This is the "due date" for the newest baby Chamness (fondly known around our house as "Deuce"). You read that right folks, we are indeed increasing. We've had our first sonogram and have seen and heard the sweet little heartbeat. Hayden was present for the fun, though was more interested in her Cheerios than her young sibling. This news wasn't completely unexpected (not exactly immaculate) and yet is still very overwhelming. For those of you out there thinking..."do they realize how close their kids will be in age? Are they crazy?" The answers are yes, we did the math and yes, most likely. Perhaps you could all add us to your daily prayer lists?

We are so very thankful that things with this pregnancy are progressing smoothly thus far. Having experienced a miscarriage in the past makes me very nervous at this stage, but we know God is faithful and we are relying on His plan in this too.

Positive...both times.

Thank you Lord for this sweet little blessing. Help us to rely on you in all things.

  5. I knew this would be coming soon based on earlier comments :) Don't worry when others think you are crazy about kids close together you can always tell them about this friend of yours who has two boys 8 months apart!!!! So happy for you. We sure are multiplying fast amongst this group of people. Now we need to add Heather to the mix. It will be an adventure. Congrats!!!

  7. YAY!!! So exciting! I had to go back and take a double take on your first few sentences!!! When I have children, I want them to be close in age like that! As you know, me and my brothers are all a year apart (Brad and I only 11 and 1/2 yrs apart!) It makes it a VERY special bond/friendship for siblings!!!! Congrats! We'll be praying for a very healthy pregnancy!!! Lova ya!
